Specialist in technical and scientific matters at Fraunhofer
headquarters in Munich.
Currently Ulrike Ruppelt serves as Chair for the industry group Life
Sciences at the German-American Business Association GABA.
She received her
Vordiplom (equals Bachelor of Science) in Chemistry
and her Diplom (equals master degree) in Media Consulting and
Communication Technology at the Technical University of Berlin.
Lyn
Travis is an
expert in organization & individual transformation and performance
with a solid background in management consulting and development.
She has over ten years of international experience in coaching and
facilitating change in a wide range of industries (including high tech,
communications, transportation, services, and consumer products) and
functions (customer relationship management, corporate restructuring,
product offering strategy, new enterprise technology, large-scale
systems integration, and accelerated global roll-out.
As an executive coach and designer /facilitator of management sessions
and workshops, Lyn serves numerous clients, including McKinsey &
Company and SAP, accelerating alignment through a collaborative,
integrated, creative approach.
Her previous career experience includes working
as consultant leader and facilitator at Cap Gemini (/Ernst & Young)
and in Brand Management at Procter & Gamble, Europe. She
received her MS at Cornell University, NY; her MBA (equivalent) at the
St. Gallen School of Business, Switzerland; and her BA at the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
For over 20 years Prof. Dr. Stephan
W. Hockertz has held leading
positions in the Life Sciences sector and consults on a broad
spectrum of factors that drive the success of a Life Science company.
From creating business plans, over negotiations with Venture
Capitalists to restructuring of companies - he has done it all. He is
CEO of tpi consult GmbH, a leading
European consultancy in toxicological and pharmaceutical matters.
Before that he worked as Director of the Institute of Clinical and
Experimental Toxicology and Professor at the University Medical School
Hamburg Eppendorf. Prior to that he headed the Fraunhofer
Institute for Toxicology and Environmental Medicine in Hamburg.
Prof. Hockertz is a designated Eurotox Registered
Toxicologist,
and
Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Manager in accordance with §
15.1 and §15.3 of the German Pharmaceutical law.
Hockertz is Dr. rer. nat. in Biology at University Hannover and
Professor for Molecular Immuntoxicology at University Medical School
Hamburg Eppendorf.
Yan
Li is Molecular Biologist, Biochemist and
Master of Business and Engineering. She is fluent in Chinese, English
and German. Most recently she worked as a specialist in the Business
Development & Sales division of LSMW GmbH, a German engineering
firm focusing on total life science solutions. LSMW built for example
the Boehringer
Ingelheim mammalian cell culture facility in Biberach. Yan Li carried
out
projects such as benchmarking of locations for technology parks, site
selections, market surveys for European and Asian markets and was
active in the field of project acquisition. Previously, she
accomplished her Masters of Business and Engineering MBE degree
specialising in General Management. Yan Li worked as a research
associate at Merlin, a German Biotech firm in Bonn. She furthered her
studies in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry in Hamburg after
receiving her master degrees in Beijing.
